My love for photography started when I was about 5 or 6 and I would steal my parents camera to take photos of the animals or of them. I proved not to be the best though as when they were developed, almost every time I managed to chop off the top of their heads! By the time I was 10 or 11, I’d slightly improved with their new digital camera taking fun pictures of the dogs jumping or the horses having a roll in the field. But it still hand’t occurred to me that I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to become a photographer - I just wanted to live on a farm with all the animals known to man!

It wasn’t until I was around 16 when I figured the out. I remember going to have a look a different schools and colleges to see what I wanted to do after GCSEs whenI came across a course in Creative Media at MidKent College in Maidstone. I instantly fell in love with the idea of becoming a photographer so that is what I did for the next two years! It was also around this time that I got my very own camera for Christmas. It was my best friend -  I always had it around to take pictures with. Unfortunately I did not have any dogs or horses to take photos of, but I had my little sister and she was my model for everything! I was always dressing her up and standing her in front of the funky wallpaper, and if you dig deep enough into my Facebook page, you might still see them there!

College were some of the best years of my life. I met lovely people, got some brilliant experiences and best of all, people were started to ask me for photos! Towards the end of college lead to me meeting my husband (I won’t explain how on here, but if you ask me I might just tell you!) and we decided that we wanted to see the world. So 6 months or so after leaving college, we took off for an awesome adventure starting in Tanzania and following onto Sydney, New Zealand, San Fransisco, New York and finishing in Atlanta. It was a crazy 3 months, but was totally worth it! We defiantly caught the travel bug and haven’t stopped since! Every year we try to make it to at least 3 or 4 new places and constantly making plans for the future!
